I shall start the discussion here with the question about the ethical dilemma first. The first dilemma that arises is that how can there be lesser or different punishment of the same crime simply on the basis of gender. If the crime is same then the punishment must also be the same and gender must not play any defining role here. The second question of dilemma is that, how will the children grow up without their mother. We all know generally mothers are the sole and primary caretaker of the young dependent children. Now these two are very conflicting ideas.
